REAL TECHNIQUES Samantha and Nicola Chapman grew up surrounded by makeup. Their aunt was a top makeup artist in London, working with clients like David Bowie and Princess Diana. Their mum was makeup-involved too, always trying out the latest trends and being creative with her looks. As young girls, they experimented on one another, and of course Nic was the test subject, since Sam was the older sister. When it came time to choose their career path, it was clear that makeup artistry was the way to go. They were talented, creative, and keen to follow in the footsteps of their successful aunt. But, most importantly — they were passionate about beauty.

Great brushes but sell individually!!!!!
I absolutely love these brushes, truly. But it is so frustrating to me that they are not sold individually. I see a lot of comments on here asking for them to be sold individually and I don't understand what the problem is. I would also, like many others, but 3 or more crease brushes to use and I don't want to have to but 12 other brushes that I don't need just to get those 3. Seriously, it would be great if you would listen to the customers on this as there are a LOT of us with the same complaint/request. Otherwise they are amazing brushes and I would love to own more if I could buy them individually.

Good kit, excellent Price !
This kit is really lovely. * The deluxe crease brush: is a bit too big but works perfect for the under eye concealer. * Brow brush: Since I have quite thick brows I can use the brow brush on them but prefer it for the eyes. * The Liner brush: it is OK, for beginners its probably not the best thing to start with practising. * The base shadow brush: is really well shaped and is also great for blending across the crease. * Accent brush: I find the accent brush a bit scratchy, but it works fine.

These brushes are all absolutely flawless - densely packed, high quality with no fallout. \r\nMy favourite brush from the set would have to be the accent brush - it is the perfect size for highlighting the inner corner of the eyes and under my eyebrows!\r\nThe deluxe crease brush seems too large for blending the shadows in the crease, it always messes up my shadow. However, I usually use it for buffing on the main blender shade before defining the crease or outer \'v\' so that it does not mess these up, and for that job it is perfect.

Absolutely Amazing
I received this as a birthday gift and am in love. I have always been a fan of these brushes. The absolute best quality brushes I've ever/will use. So soft, they don't shed, super durable, sleek, easy to use, and a nice variety to add to any collection. The price is amazing too, so affordable. Better than any high end brand brushes I've ever used. I can't say enough good things! one thing I have to mention is that the brow brush is a little wider than I personally like to use just because I like a lot of precision, but I use it non the less:)

Awesome brushes!
I'm especially in love with the base shadow brush! Also, I was really impressed with the service/support of Real Techniques!!! There was a little problem with one of the brushes. I sent an email and a photo of the defect and got an answer the same day. I received a replacement brush instead in 2 days!! Really really happy with this set (and the core set and supersoft blush brush!!) My compliments, Sam!
